The Arleigh Burke class destroyer of US Navy, DDG-68, USS The Sullivans, arrived in Bodrum, Muğla for a port visit on 2nd March 2012.
The Aegis equipped destroyer will stay in Bodrum during the weekend. It is reported that the commander of the ship will conduct courtesy visits to the mayor of the city and to other officials.
Bodrum has become a favorite destination for R &R visits of US Navy, in the last couple years.
