On 9th July 2011, the Arleigh Burke (Flight IIA) class destroyer DDG-87 USS Mason arrived for a 3 day visit in Bodrum, Muğla. The small touristic town Bodrum is becoming a favorite visit destination for US Navy. USS Stout was there for a 3 day port visit in May.
