The Graduation Ceremony At The Turkish Naval Academy

DSC_4266 kopya — Gabya class frigate F-497 TCG *Göksu*. She is one of the four ships which will receive Smart Mk2 radar and Mk-41 VLS launcher upgrade and the new ESSM missiles.

DSC_4339 kopya — Barbaros class frigate F-245 TCG *Oruçreis*. She will receive Smart Mk2 radar and her Mk29 launcher will be replaced with a Mk41 VLS.

DSC_4321 kopya — S-354 TCG *Sakarya*. One of the four Preveze class submarines.

DSC_4268 kopya — M-265 TCG Alanya. This Aydın class mine hunter is one of the most modern ships of her kind in Turkish Navy.

DSC_4277 kopya — A-579 TCG *Cezayirli Gazi Hasan Paşa*. She is one of the two large training ships of Turkish Naval Forces.

Today, there was a graduation ceremony at Turkish Naval Academy. I did not attend the ceremony but I was able to take photos of the warships anchored off the Naval Academy for the celebrations. I guess, the number of the warships and their combined firepower was more than the naval armed forces of many nations.
