>TCG Gelibolu returned home on 13th August 2010, after being away for 6 months. She was in the Gulf of Aden as part of Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2).
During her operation in the region she has sailed approximately 30.000 nautical miles and escorted many ships. She is by far the most efficient Turkish warship as the table below shows:
