Almost suddenly TCG Gediz returned home from Somalia today.
She arrived at her homeport Gölcük on 19th November 2009. She had left Turkey in June as part of NATO’s SNMG-2. 
During the 154 days was she was in Gulf of Aden she spend 124 days underway, 30 days in ports. She covered a distance of 30.000 nautical miles in 3000 sailing hours.
