In the mean time a small video of the ship has appeared on Turkish media and maritime portals. The source of the video is not certain. It was made from a plane with a semi cantilever wing as the braces are visible. Turkish Navy does not operate any planes with that kind of wing. The video is very shaky and has an unprofessional appearance. Therefore I assume it was made by local Somailan means, may be by local media. Click here to watch the video. Turkish frigates TCG Gediz and TCG Gaziantep trailed the ship untill she anchored off Eyl. The frigates left the area one the ransom negotiations has begun.
The ships load of sulphur ore is also a factor that must be critically watched. Mixed with water sulphur may corrode the ship and damage the integrity of the hull.
