>The crew of the hijacked Turkish bulk carrier M/V Ya-Sa Neslihan is reportedly unharmed.
The company did not made any official statements whether the pirates demanded a ransom or not. But the news on the media is that the pirates want 5 million USD as ransom.
In the mean time there were some reports that TCG Gökova was ordered to help Ya-Sa Neslihan in the local media. These reports turned out the be bogus as TCG Gökova and the rest of SNMG-2 (minus 3 ships taking part in Operation Allied Provider) are heading for the Persian Gulf as previously reported. The first planned visit is Kuwait.
