Two naval ships visited Istanbul for the ceremonies.

F-245 TCG Oruçreis, a MEKO 200 Track 2A class frigate. She was build between 1995 -1997 in Gölcük Naval Shipyard. She is scheduled for a mid-life modernisation and will receive ESSM firing capability.

F-495 TCG Gediz (ex-John A. Moore ), a Gabya (Perry) class frigate. She was transferred from US Navy in 2000. Her conversion from short hull to long-hull was performed in Gölcük Naval Shipyard.

SG-106 TCSG-106, a Kaan 29 class patrol craft of Turkish Coast Guard speeding through Bosphorus.
